don't get the wrong idea... I love that too! That way, it doesn't just stop there, you know? Leave some space for our imagination, keep the heat alive! I heart puns. ;D

So Trey acted as a cook in the beginning sequence! ;D I wonder if everyone had to have that duty at one point...

Based on the articles about the student dorms, my guess is that Trey and Kaneda would be the top cooks on the ship. Mmmmmmm... delicious!

(According to Hiro, Michelle was the worst cook in the group... I'm guessing it's pretty bad since the group consists of 6 males) Something we have in common I suppose... P.S. I'm trying to scan that article...

The script said that Pinbacker killed Trey? I don't remember that bit at all, but maybe it wasn't in the draft I read.... It says something like 'the scalpel that Pinbacker used to kill Trey'... so it isn't a *scene* or anything... But I didn't think about him confusing Trey with Cassie. You're right....

So, I got the script book in the mail yesterday and I finished it this morning [seriously]. I saw the part where it says, "And now we see, in Pinbacker's hand-- the knife he used to kill Trey" (you should see all the dog-eared pages of this poor book, by the way).
And then pages later when we see Corazon's body after she's been stabbed it says, "Light falls on Corazon's dead body... which, like Trey's body, appears to have been posed."
In the scene with Cassie in the Earth room, too, it doesn't mention in the script that Pinbacker was surprised by Trey's body at all... just that he was coming through the glass on the opposite side from Cassie.
SO, I don't know what I think anymore. Clearly things change from the script to the final version we see onscreen, but there's a lot in the script that makes me want to change my mind. It's still mentioned in the script that Trey's wrists are cut... but it also says that Pinbacker killed him and apparently posed him.

Very interesting! I think it would be hard for someone to perfectly slice someone's wrists like that though. Then again Trey would have wanted to die, I suppose.

It's still mentioned in the script that Trey's wrists are cut... but it also says that Pinbacker killed him and apparently posed him. Oh boy. This makes me really anxious to read the script. But yeah, things change from script to final version. I mean, everything about Trey screams suicide. There is no sign of a struggle in the Earth room. There's no trail of blood leading up to him. The blood puddles could only have formed that way if his wrists were cut while he was in that sitting position. The crew mentions earlier how Trey is too doped up to do anything, so it could be said that Trey was out of it when/if Pinbacker approached him, but we see Trey walking around and feeling even more guilty so he was clearly capable of taking actions. And why would Pinbacker stage Trey's suicide and then suddenly take a break to sunbathe? If I'm to judge by Corazon (and maybe the Icarus I crew), Pinbacker's posing of his victims is not a matter of covering up what he's done, but a macabre play on the victims' hopes and dreams in the face of the inevitable.
