My favorite scene (besides the Corvey celebration scene) is when Trey caused an alarm to go off and Kaneda ran out of his room. It seemed like he was chasing Corazon. Um, yeah. I have more...

It seemed like he was chasing Corazon. Lol... I didnt noticed that! Aww... another reason to watch the movie again (once is simply NOT enough)... I'm thinking (trying not to include corrie in all)... 1. the Corvey one (definately!) combined with the "flyboy" quote earlier on... 2. the last scene where Capa's sister walk out to see the bright sun... 3. when Corrie found that "beautiful baby" of hers... I love how her face just lights up when she saw that... (well right til she was stabbed anyway... ) actually i got lots more... I have another favourite scene where Corazon ran towards the oxygen garden and cried as she sees her oxygen garden destroyed, I know it's suppose to be a sad scene but I still cant stop loving it... love how they had the angle where Corrie knelt down crying... And I had no idea how someone who has been crying their eyes out can seem soooo beautiful.... Am I the only one with a sad scene as a favourite scene...

Fangirly - Any scene involving Capsie. *love*
From Capa blowing out the airlock and his journey in the suit towards the payload, to the magical moment with him at the end. Perfect. And the score was just so beautiful in those moments.
I loved practically the whole film, so I can't really pick. Need to think...

Don't worry, MelC! I have PLENTY of sad scenes, too. Here are mine... and counting: 1. Capa's happy ending (acting at its finest!)2. Searle sacrifices himself (awesome moment and music!)3. Kaneda running down the hall (um, he was acting really well *Kanezon fans help me here* )4. Cassie's moral stand ("Find a kindness..." I'M TEARING UP! )5. Mace's final words (I love the whole conversation between Mace and Capa during this scene)6. Corazon finds hope (I love her expression towards the baby plant... and part where we get to see her positioned)7. Kaneda suiting up to fix the panels (referring to scene #9: where is Corazon? )8. Mapa fights (They are so enjoyable... period )9. Cassie helping Capa into his suit (not a top choice because Cassie looks so mental with her buggy eyes :/ )10. Mace announces that Icarus I is sabotaged (everyone looks so emotional and silent *especially Harvey*... perfect) (To be continued...) --- Chero was too lazy to edit her post, so I did it.

Am I the only one with a sad scene as a favourite scene... You are not alone! One of my favorite sad scenes is when Kaneda tells Capa to leave him... the music... the emotions... :*0 Also the part where Cassie tells Capa to finish the mission... *sigh*

I think by the time all of us finish naming our favourite scenes, it's practically the whole plot... ;D hm... let's see... I loved the 2nd one, Searle was just so calm when he positioned himself and put on his glasses... oh well... at least he got to see the sun. I can't believe I missed the 3rd one... :*0 (when's the dvd coming out?) Cassie's moral stand, definately. This scene is one of the emotional ones, everyone can't really take a side. the 5th one too, cause it's a pity Mace had to die like this (the whole conversation is great...) The 7th, ditto on where's Corazon! If she was there, i bet it'd be my most favourite scene! no fair.... why did Kaneda had to suit up alone... About the 6th, I was reminded of the scene where Harvey found the oxygen garden of Icarus I and showed it to Corrie... She was soooooo happy (I bet if Kaneda was there, she would have twirl him around ) The scene Brittany mentioned too is one of my favourite scenes... and Kaneda just stood there (not forgetting that memorable quote from Searle)

I really loved the scene where Kaneda sacrificed himself. Even to the last, he had that composure...you can literally feel the respect everyone has for him.

I went to see Sunshine again last sunday (and I'm planning to watch it again next saturday!)... and I have to say, Kaneda chasing Corazon.... *sigh* Also I'd like to add another favourite scenes of mine... The scene where they vote on whether Trey should stay... and Cassie says "I know the argument, I know the logic. You're saying you need my vote, I'm saying you're not having it." That quote totally blows...

"I don't know how... Just do it" :*0 Mace's last words. All situaton, his death makes me cry.
Kaneda's and Corazon's deaths are also sad but they didn't 'win' Mace. Ending was just so SAD!
They shouldn't have died bloody hel *cries*
Also that voting situation was nice. I think Mace has talent to be captain. i think he kind of overruled even Kaneda little bitbut didn't push it over you know. He has that authority there. He should have been second in command XD Because Harvey didn't have that authority in him.

He should have been second in command XD Because Harvey didn't have that authority in him. Yeah, I agree. Harvey was too concerned about going back home and was... well selfish. But I guess you can't blame him.

Yeah, I agree. Harvey was too concerned about going back home and was... well selfish. But I guess you can't blame him. I agree with Mace being 2nd in command but at the same time, I don't blame Harvey too. He just really love his wife and there's nothing wrong with that... Sort-of how Corazon feels with her plants... If I had a husband like Harvey, I'd cry my eyes out!
