I don't know why this is bugging me so much but when my mind fixates on something it doesn't do half a job www.sunshinefan.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=3&pos=1Is this from a scene in the film or is it just a promotional still, perhaps from a deleted scene or filming scene because of the green? There are a few like this for the others that I don't remember from the film but this one is just bugging me ^_^

I'm thinking (given the green screen: yep!) that it's from the unused/uncompleted extension to the ending, in which Cassie, Pinbacker, and Kaneda's silver-king chess piece have their "suspended moment" to complement Capa's time-slowing rendezvous with the wall of light. Of course, I could be wrong: Chero, Brittany, please feel free to set me straight...!

Hey ^_^ Thanks for that, I was listening to the commentary (for about the 5th time) and I remember that being mentioned...I think, or at least I've heard it mentioned elsewhere and it looks like that may be the only place it fits within the film ^_^ thanks for that, my brain can now go fixate on something else. I always find myself pining for the uncompleted scenes, there must have been so many in this film that never made it to the final cut or the extras, oh well thanks again

I'm 99.9% positive that it is an unused scene near the end. I have a feeling that it is the scene where Cassie confronts Pinbacker before Capa gets there. She is probably in a moment right before she gets stabbed since that scene was never shown.

But she already has (Capa's) blood on her face and throat. That's why I think it's from the unshot sequence where she and Pinbacker are actually looking from their own special perspectives as the bomb detonates. Not to fight-fight-- well, hell -- but Rose is wearing her seconds-from-death martyr-face here. She really seems to be looking into the abyss-- or the void, or the light, or heaven-- as it were....

Thank you again for all the help and opinions ^_^ I recently got hold of the script book and after reading the scenes that didn't make it into the final production, it looks likely that this was from the unused scene towards the end huzzah, my mind can rest now
