I liked the movie but I love the series. Especially after the SciFi channel picked it up.
I just LOVED Jack O'Neill's (played by Richard Dean Anderson)sense of humor and his irreverence. The writer's really undestood Anderson's own personality.
The last couple of seasons were disappointing (no Jack and other casting issues) and probably the reason the series is coming to an end. :*0
That 200th episode spoof was extremely CREATIVE.

Some of the best lines came from O'Neill. Rick is a great actor and the show wasn't the same without him. The best quote was when he and a special forces buddy were about to set up a bomb to close the Gate and Carter was explaining in technobabble everything. The two men looked at each other and the friend said, "Did you understand a word she said?" and O'Neill said "Nope" and that was it.
And agreed, 200th episode was classic.

I love O'Niell and hated to see him go from the show. Richard Dean Anderson does a lot of behind the scenes stuff on the show though and I guess he just got overworked so decidid to phase out his character. I like Ben Browder's character on the show as well as Claudia Black's. The first several episodes were worriesome but I think they have pulled through. However, Sci Fi has said that they think it is time to end the show because veiwership is not as high as they would like. How sad.  Cross your fingers, maybe they will make another movie! |

I must say I am NOT a fan of Ms. Black. Not on StarGate or the other series (name I forget).
I have enjoyed the "moments" when Jack's character drops in for a "visit" during the last 2-3 years. Especially when it also involves the characters from Atlantis.
Here's a fav moment. The episode where only Jack and Tel'q realize they are living the same days OVER AND OVER. He kisses Sam and I mean really KISSES her. After the time problem is corrected, Dr. Jackson basically asked Jack if he did anything naughty - Jack just smiles. Classic Jack moment.
I look forward to April and the last of the shows. Hopefully the writing staff, which we know to be creative, will appreciate those fans who have followed the show ALL THESE YEARS and honor us with a good resolution for the relationships between characters and their future.

Uhm...Tealstar and filmbuff...I thought they already finished the series. Didn't they? It ended already. I'd swear they did. I sure HOPE they did. Because that means I'VE BEEN MISSING EPISODES!! AARGH!

I like the stargate TV show , it is one of my best TV show for ever ..
Like in the New Order (Stargate SG-1)
