I saw it on Wednesday. It was pretty good, but I have yet to see a Harry Potter film where I wasn't craving the deleted scenes afterwards.
My "At-A-Glance" Review:Well, that's my review in a nutshell. What does everyone else think?
Pros:
(1) FINAL BATTLE SEQUENCE: I got goosebumps when the Order showed up in the end. It was nice to finally see a thrilling wizard battle on the big screen.
(2) RON AND HERMIONE: I love this pair and I enjoyed their scenes together, even if some were very minute. One of my favorite scenes of them together was when Ron hit the giant with a stick/branch. It was definitely a fangirl moment for me.
(3) BELLATRIX LESTRANGE: Helena Bonham Carter did a fantastic job! She's beautiful and talented.
(4) THE ORDER: It was so refreshing to finally to see all of the Order together. I can't wait to see them in the upcoming movies!
(5) HARRY AND GINNY: I also love this pair and it was obvious how bothered Ginny was when Harry walked up to Cho. It was cute.
Cons:
(1) NOT MUCH ORDER: There wasn't much screentime for the members of the Order. I wanted to particularly see more of Tonks... maybe even Lupin? Together? Okay, I know that was a little selfish.
(2) NO RON AND LUNA: I was really looking forward to seeing Luna obsessing over Ron in the movie, but that never happened. They only suggested it when Luna looked at him in the Thestral carriage to Hogwarts.
(3) HARRY AND HERMIONE: Hermione hugs Harry... again. She's worried. Okay, okay, we get it. Enough already.
(4) HARRY AND CHO: The kiss was too drawn out. How was the kiss? Wet? Not funny. Also, if you didn't like Cho in the last movie, you're definitely not going to like her in this one.
(5) READ SPOILER:(5) SIRIUS' DEATH: The scene where Harry's yelling is muted looked like a horrible ripoff of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. LotR, in my opinion, pulled that off much more nicely. It was just hard for me to sympathize with Harry in that scene. It's probably just because I expected it to happen (the death, not the horrible muting).
