Alright, so this isn't a popular sci-fi favorite, but I love it. I like William Hurt and Mimi Rogers' on-screen chemistry as husband and wife, and the actors who play their kids worked out nicely. Perhaps Matt LeBlanc got the brunt of the criticism, but I personally enjoyed his portrayal of Major Don West. I just love his attitude. Believe it or not, this movie "launched" my addiction to movies in general. I even laminated a newspaper ad for it which shows the Jupiter 2 flying in space. I bought the book, complete with color photos from the movie, and I used the laminated newspaper ad as a bookmark. I've had the VHS for many years and only last year or so I bought the DVD version (partly because DVDs are more popular now and the VHS case was falling apart). It's a shame that there wasn't a sequel, especially since this movie ended suggestively. Then again I'm sure many people would have liked this movie to have never been made in the first place. Oh well... IMDb link

This movie was cute! Penny made me laugh cuz she thinks the way I do when it comes to a hot man walking around the control room <3

LOL! I really thought this thread was going to die. I might post some pictures of my fangirl collection for this movie...I might actually get embarrassed now that I'm thinking about it. We'll see...

Yeah! Please do, I like seeing fangirliness! Hey...was the villain in this Gary Oldman, or am I hallucinating again? ^^;; Must have been a look-alike...

Bwahahaha so crazy! That is most deninitely so awesome! He did a great job in that. Seeing that it did poorly (and embarasses people, lol) it didn't seem that he would have taken that role, but I'm glad he did. And thank you for telling me. ^^

Oi! I love Lost In Space, though for vastly different reasons than anyone else... I'm an uberfangirl of the band that made the title music for it (Apollo Four Forty), and I was a huge fan of the original, so I had to go see it. And I promptly loved it. My favourite line? "Ouch. Could he be any cuter?"

Could he be any cuter?" Very good quote indeed! Here are some more: "I'm no space explorer." - Dr. Smith, about going on Proteus
"Does he have to wake up at all?" - Penny, about Will's oxygen supply
"There's barely enough for you and your ego, Major." - Dr. Judy, about sharing a chromotube(?)
"...this would be your basic 'kiss for luck' occasion, wouldn't you agree?" - Major West
"Major West, I highly reccommend that you never breed... that's my medical opinion by the way." - Dr. Smith
"...I'll have Judy down here in a heartbeat to declare you both unfit and I'll take over this mission.... not another word!" - Maureen, about the excess of manliness
