*blush* ***** In sorta (not-quite-related) news: A reporter for the Des Moines, Iowa, Register who was writing a story on the locals who contributed time and real estate toward the filming of Peaco[c]k said that he ended up in the basement of the antique shop in Lorimor, Iowa (a.k.a. The Pimple on the Back End of Nowhere), with Cillian and Ellen Page and about thirty other Peaco[c]k folks when the sky turned green and the tornado sirens went off Wednesday night. And why, might no one be asking, is this Watching the Detectives news rather than Peaco[c]k news? 'Cause Cillian, to pass the time in what sounds like a very old-fashioned dank, dark Midwestern storm cellar, started up a film trivia game to pass the time. Not unlike Neil in Detectives! I'm wondering, though, if he was still in costume as Emma Skillpa (it was one of his "Emma days") when the gang headed underground. Would put an even more surreal twist on the experience, especially since Mr. Reporter Guy headed off his blog entry by saying he'd been stuck in the basement with A PSYCHO..... .... as opposed to say, a solar physicist, a video-store owner, an Irish revolutionary, a railroad engineer, or a Dublin stock boy. I'm really starting to feel Cillian's pain in this department: he was Jackson "How-the-Hell-Do-I-Hold-This-Knife?" Rippner ONCE. So far, he's only been nutjob Jonathan Crane ONCE. Get the heck over it already, news guy! (Or did you not notice that he's basically five-foot-seven and one hundred and thirty-five pounds of PURE TINY MELLOW...? )

I was something akin to Drunk As Heck when I made that comment. HAHA, SORRY. But I did mean it. I'm getting off topic too, but do you know how much longer they're going to be shooting in Lorimor? I'm trying to get in touch with Michael Morain, but I'm so impatient in waiting for a response. It's a 16 hour drive from here, but. I'm feeling a little bit manic and in need of a good Trip Away From Virginia since the last one was last may to see WTD. (Would you look at that! I did tie it into the topic!)

Cillian's last day-- the entire production's last scheduled day, in fact-- shooting in Iowa was TODAY (that is to say June 8). SORRY--!! ARRGH. (... per a source obtained in a very, VERY sneaky fashion. Man, I should be so ashamed of myself--! But, hey, now I'M a little drunk. [Michelob's new gourmet line = YUM ])

SAD TIMES! I wonder where they're headed after this. I don't think Cill has confirmed that he'll be in Edinburgh on the 18th for The Edge of Love either. I'm dying for some new photos.
Also, hey, I wouldn't be ashamed. You have the "IN". I'd brag about it.
