I think she's capable of very good work-- if she can keep her personal life in check. In a way she reminds me of a female version of Errol Flynn. He gave some magnificently entertaining performances, but he was a magnificent party hound as well, and he burned himself out far too quickly. Lindsay was great in "Freaky Friday," "A Prairie Home Companion," and "Mean Girls." Then again, any movie that contains the line "My t-shirt is stuck to my sweater, isn't it?" is an absolute gem in my book. ;D

I'm really glad you've seen A Prairie Home Companion. I'm holding out until Georgia Rule to see how she does against great talent again. And hoping she'll realize that, yeah, hey, it's cool to be twenty, but everyone's watching, and it's not cool to ruin any future prospects. ...even though people are still probably fighting over her, no matter what kind of personal trainwreck she's become.
P.S.- I love Mean Girls more than any sane person should. It started the Rachel McAdams love... Tina Fey is a genius!
Whatev, I love her. We'd be BFFs. xD

I'll probably get hanged for this but, you have to find me first. Her personal life aside, I find Lindsay's acting to be quite tripe. Mean Girls was definitely an exception. I'm not afraid to admit that I enjoyed that movie. But A Prairie Home Companion? ANYWAYS....back to Cillian........

REALLY? I loved her. =| I'm so biased, though. I pretty much love everything she's ever done. Not to mention, LinLoh as a stripper?! A crazy stripper?! It's like heaven. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it...! Yeah. Back to Cillian, xP. I uploaded some HQ images of him from the TWTSTB screening the other day at uCillian...

Oooh, I think Cillian knows what he wants to do. I have faith in his choices, he's done good so far.
I still haven't seen WTSTB yet. I really need to. I'm gonna rent it out this week.
I love Mean Girls. One of only a handful of teen movies that I like.

Cillian was incredible in TWTSTB. There are so many reasons for me to like TWTSTB that have nothing to do with the actual film (my first trip to Canada, my first film at a film festival, the first time I'd ever met him, my first long vacation alone, etc., etc.), but every time I watch clips of it from YouTube or something, it just gives me cold chills to remember it. You'll have to report back to us on what you think of it once you've seen it!

Awww, that's cool, it brings back good memories. You are so lucky. I'd love to meet Cillian. He's such an amazing actor. I can't stop saying that, but it's true. I will definately report back. It's a holiday day tomorrow so I'll rent it out Tuesday. I can't wait to see it. I can't beleive it's taken me this long to finally get around to planning and watching it. Not good. I feel bad enough for not being able to get to London and see Love Song.

TWTSTB is an amazing film. Loved it. Don't think the guy next to me loved me using so much tissues but eh. Amazing film that EVERYONE should see.

I know what you mean, IIC. I was so embarrassed sitting in a packed auditorium and bawling my eyes out...

I don't cry in movies but that penultimate scene in TWTSTB was a KILLER! I almost cried. I tried to. I wish I had. Haha um sorry. Haha when I went and saw it in theaters there was a stack of postcards for it by the door and I grabbed around 20 on the way out. Haha, you know, just in case I lose one. LMAO *serious dork*

I wish the IFC Centre had postcards cause you know I'll plaster those suckers in my flat. Or mail most of them out.

Seriously! I love collecting film souvenirs like that. We have postcards for the movie Vacancy right now that're kinda creepy... I did get a film magazine at a cinema in Ottawa last year, though, that had a promo from the film in it. That was exciting.
And geez, I cry over everything movie/book related. Romcom's are KILLER, even though I know exactly what's going to happen! And then when it's a drama and it's got good acting... I walk into the auditorium knowing I'm just going to be a mess when the lights come back up. I've gotten over the embarrassment somewhat now. Now I just sit around and cry and if people make fun when the lights come up I give them the finger and go to the washroom alone, LOL.
Oh, movies.
