Briefly, briefly--

Well filmed; extremely dark themes. Two spots that stood out very brightly:

Rikiya Kurokawa teaching Rose to dance-- to the tune of the Ventures' "Walk, Don't Run."

A very funny scene where reptile fan Rikiya gets "attached" to a "bug-eyes," an extremely tenacious little Outback critter with very strong jaws. Rose's deadpan and-- unfortunately, for poor Rikiya-- ignored "Please leave it alone." is priceless.

I couldn't really say that I wish you were here, but thank you all the same, sir.

Had to check over there: my DVD has the copyright date for the cover art and packaging but not for the film itself...!
