Has anyone else seen this film?
I just saw it at the West Virginia International Film Festival, and I'm not sure what I think of it... Before I write anything, I just want to know if anyone else has seen it. I feel like I need to see it again, and I really need to discuss it with someone who's watched it.

I don't think this is very helpful, but I'm planning on ordering the DVD when it comes out. I've seen some good reviews for it, and some not so good, but i'm intrigued, and I like "indie" type films, so i'm planning on buying it. If I hate it, oh well. What was Rose's performance like?

I believe it comes out on DVD in the US on Tuesday, so if you've got a region-free DVD player you could probably get it then. I'm not sure about in the UK, though.
The film is very odd. I still haven't decided whether I like it or not.
Rose's performance was incredible. I think she can cry at the drop of a hat... I never really paid much attention to her before Sunshine, but since then I've really just been watching her, and she is an amazing actress. She really lights up the screen and steals the focus a lot of the time.

It was hell to find a cinema that showed it here, but I managed to watch it. I liked it. There wasn't enough time to fully immerse ourselves into the story, but it wasn't shallow (except for maybe Tony Collete's performance). Rose's little outburst at the restaurant is heartbreaking.

Rose was Just incredible in this movie. ( Her best berformence so far)
i recomend it .
a very complex and moving story that make her part the most powerfull of the movie.
A MUST SEE.

It's kind of a weird movie.. Giovanni Rbisi is one of my favorite actors, and I'm a huge fan of Rose Byrne.. The rest of the cast was also full of big actors, but something about the story line and the way it was put together just kinda threw it off.. All the actors had great performances, but the story line was just so weird.. When it ended I felt like there was something missing, and that most of the movie didn't have anything to do with the plot. But it is a good movie nonetheless  |
