I am not sure if there is already a thread about this, and if there is then I'm sorry
I was wondering if it has been explained at some point why Capa is standing at the surface of the sun and its slow motion and all that jazz? I was watching a Sunshine trailer on YouTube and someone commented that it was because time and space (like the computer said) got all mashed up I personally love that explaination Its a very romantic (in the literary sense of the word) ending with loads of meaning behind it But at first I thought it was just a way of filming the movie But if we can pin that explanation on there then it makes the moment even BETTER for me ^o^
Has this been explained in commentary or behind-the-scenes? And if so, where can I find it?

There is already a thread about this HERE. As for the commentary, it's all on the DVD.

Someone from Sweden sent in a question (similar to yours) for our special fan interview and directed it at Dr. Brian Cox. You should read his answer there. His commentary on the DVD explains the slow motion in detail. He claims that the director, Cillian Murphy and others most likely have different interpretations. It's a beautiful scene. One of my favorites.
