Oh, HELL yes!
And I'd keep it exactly the way I've always kept journals: I'd be making up heaps of weird, crazy stuff. "Real life" is for the ship's log. This is ENTERTAINMENT-- if only for the sneaky S.O.B.s who might go snooping in it...!
Given studies that show that the presence of animals can reduce stress, should the ship have had a mascot or pet? A cat, maybe? A tortoise? A couple of guinea pigs, perhaps...?

NoOOoOooo... I have a feeling they'll be MORE stressed... the sort-of "It's YOUR turn to feed it?!" or "What do you mean you 'accidentally' left it in the shower?!" or "Harvey, get that DAMN rabbit off my CARROTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" LOL...
although when you say Mascot, I'm actually thinking of CHICKENTREY. hehe..
Do you think there should be more women in the crew?

Nope. The tension was wound tight enough already without throwing another girl into the midst...and I am a girl so no-one tell me I'm being sexist. Also, if there was another female crew member, think of all the extra fandoms we'd have to control. I mean, it's bad enough that we have:
Kanezon Massie Capsie Mapsie Mapa Corvey Tressie Harassie Searus Marazon AND Comb (Capa/Bomb)
...and that's with only two women and a feminine mainframe in the mix.
Uh, okay, next question... Were you surprised to find out about Cassie's abortion?

In that order, massiefan? YES. I'll leave it as that. Do you think Searle went crazy when he started his solar experiments?

No. Not totally but I think he was starting to.
Question: If you were one of the crew and then, thru the vid feeds, you caught one (or two) doing something naughty (not dangerous but you know)... would you stop them?

No. But I might find something *else* to occupy my time... at least temporarily! I read that the male/female parts weren't set in stone before casting began. Would you have liked to have seen any "gender reversals" among the characters? Michelle Yeoh as Kaneda, for instance? Rose Byrne as Capa or Mace?

No...although a really cut-and-dry super-practical female character WOULD have been good...
If, for whatever reason, YOU had to kill off one of the Icarus crew in order for the others to be ableto deliver the payload, would you do it?

If I had to physically do the job myself, most definitely NO. If not, ....yes. Would you play hangman with Icarus (like Searle does in our Fanzone)?

I'd go. I'd wanna die knowing that I'd actually achieved something in my life.
If you were in Trey's shoes and YOU had been the one to make the mistake over the shield adjustment calculations, and then Capa and Kaneda went out to fix them and...well, we know what happens...
Would you blame yourself for Kaneda's death?

YES. Would you rather be a crew member on the Icarus I mission as opposed to Icarus II?

No. because I always think that the first to go is least likely to suceed.
If you're one of the crew, do you think you'll get homesick like Harvey?

Nope.
I'm pretty happy by myself -- I know that SOUNDS cold, but it's the truth. I am an intrapersonal...person. I prefer to do things by myself, work by myself, relax by myself...I'm just not a people person. That's one of the reasons I spend all day on these forums obessively refreshing the RPG pages instead of hanging out with the other people in my class. I get along with guys better than girls, so I probably would've had no problem in the company of the Icarus II crew.
Plus I'm socially inept.
If Capa came up and told you that there was an irreparable problem with the payload and it wasn't going to work and the entire human race was DOOMED...
Would you tell the others right away?
Think carefully about this one...

Hey massiefan, I find a bit of me in your description of yourself. Concerning your question: I think the once right way is to let the others know about the problems with the bomb. At the one hand they could go back to earth and see their friends, at the other hand there is probably no way to build a third bomb and they don't want go back to earth with the terrible message that they all have to die. But if they don't turn around they could fly into the sun and kill themselves by this way, which is a better way to die than freeze on earth. So the they would overvote Harvey and stay on their course. If you are going to go with Icarus to the sun and you could choose three personal items, which one would you take along?EDIT: Uhh, sorrry forgot that we need yes or no questions
