I think that you should just be a little cautious if you are looking to reuse the wig without the face paint. I know that the lace can get stained from experience. It might depend on the type of face paint being used. I was using red that really didn't dry, and the red just seemed to stain everything it touched (fabric wise.) I don't have all that much experience with this stuff. From what I could gather from this article: https:// www.rebeccafashion.com/ Rebecca Hair The material is going to be transparent. So no matter your skin tone, it is not going to be noticeable (or as unnoticeable as it would usually be.) It also says that you wash it the same as a normal wig, so I would guess that means most things that would wash out of a wig in general will wash out of the lace. I don't know about how the character's hair hangs, or the length you are going for, but I would just be careful about when you apply everything. Timing wise, you want the paint to be dry. You probably know that the wig hair is going to get on your face when you first put it on and try to position it, so all of that might get messy if the paint is not dry. PS. A really cool trick I learned if you don't want to do the whole lace front thing: You can get a normal wig, place it at your hairline, then take a bit of hair out. Then all you do is brush your natural hair into the front of the wig. Gives an even better appearance if your character has an exposed forehead. Hope that everything works out!
