There's a review of the film here: emanuellevy.com/article.php?articleID=4920Overall, the reviewer gave it a B, saying generally good things. Watch out though--there are some spoilers in the 17th paragraph. And he uses the world alien, which seems a little misleading. I'm pretty sure I know what he's talking about, and I'm pretty sure that that isn't an alien...but then again, I haven't seen the film. He was probably using it in the sense of "outsider," but the way he uses it is really going to give people the wrong idea. But maybe I'm the one who is way off and confusing things.... The review is pretty long, and it gives more plot details, so go check it out!

I was interested to note that he gave 12 Monkeys a B-, which I personally think is a brilliant film (and gets an 8/10 on IMDB)... So if he thinks Sunshine is better than 12 Monkeys then I'm happy with that! **edit** And it's nice to see (almost) everyone in the film credited finally.

Yeah! It was cool to see Paloma Baeza playing Capa's sister!

Yeah! I get such a thrill out of people working together in film/television more than once... And I had no idea that she was Alex Garland's "real life partner." They should credit her on IMDb for the film!

I haven't seen it, but apparently they were in a film called 'Sunburn' together...

I haven't seen that either. I don't think it's available for my region on DVD, though. =/ But she and Cillian worked on that one, and then that TV show "The Way We Live Now," and the two collaborated on something else, I believe... A short film? Yeah! "The Watchmen". I love it! Such a web!

Now that's a weird little evolutionary path. Paloma goes from being Cillian's would-be girlfriend (in "Sunburn") to his rocky-road-of-love would-be fiancee (in "The Way We Live Now"-- which, by the way is absolutely brilliant: hell, David Suchet should have played The Evil Pinbacker!) to his... ... sister. Whoaaaa. That's why they call it ACTING! It'll be great to see her again. She's not in nearly enough stuff.

Well that was interesting. I learned some new things, and surprisingly wasn't "spoiled."

I didn;'like the review that much. It downplayed the characters when in fact the characters were what made me really like the movie in the first place.
