Ive seen Sunshine three times now, and I just must say that I cannot believe how great this film is. Its internal messages of self- sacrifice, human survival, and just the amazing connections that the characters have....the film truly moved me. When it was over, I couldn't really move. I just sat through the credits and pondered what I had just viewed. With each viewing this feeling gets stronger - and I can definitely say that Sunshine is my favorite Sci-Fi film of all time, hands down.
Feels great to be apart of this community, who feels the same way.

I felt the same way after watching Sunshine, but seeing it twice isn't enough for me! Can't wait for July 20th!

Feels great to be apart of this community, who feels the same way. You don't know how happy I am to "hear you say that" (or rather "read these words"?). A very warm welcome to you!! 8-)

I have never ever EVER joined a movie fanboard before, but after seeing Sunshine I just had to. I'm just so amzed the movie was made on such a low budget. A real testiment to Boyle and his crew. Real talent.

I've seen it 6 times in the theaters so far. More than I ever seen any other movie (I think my previous record was 4). I'm pondering watching it 8 times - once for each crew member! Or is it 9 times if you count Pinbacker? But yeah, every time I watch it, it just gets stronger. I have a top 10 movie list where Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are tied for #1, but I'm putting Sunshine at #0. And, same as redshift, this is the first movie fanboard I ever joined. It is so, so wonderful to connect with people who are just as touched by this movie as I am.
