massiefanYou should do all in your power to get the Tech manual. You won't regret it -- even at a high price. It's one of my favorite pieces of Alien/Aliens literature. Kali brought up Jeanette in other movies. How about this one: In Near Dark, Jeanette "Vasquez" Goldstein's character (Diamondback) was paired up with Lance "Bishop" Henriksen's (Jesse) -- and Bill "Hudson" Paxton (Severin) was the odd man out. Sorry... ;D

If you sneeze too hard, you can break a rib. If you suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your neck or head and DIE! the breking vessel part scares the shit out of me i prefere to break a rib even tho thats not to cool

Millions of years ago there were spiders on earth which were as big as horses! Because of the much higher oxygen portion in the atmosphere. Frighten picture!

Arggghhhh!
*hides under covers and doesn't come out*
...Boy, am I glad that spiders aren't that big anymore...*shudder*
More on Aliens in general, and Jeanette in particular:
Jeanette is actually AFRAID of guns. Of all the crew, it was Bill Paxton and Mark Rolston that most enjoyed handling the weaponry.
Jeanette is really short. Like, five foot six.
In the audio commentary for the extended edition of Aliens, Lance and Bill had a convo that went something like this:
Bill: Oh, man, I was so jealous of Michael during this scene. He was just so calm and I was freakin' out. I really wanted to be Hicks.
Lance:...I wanted to be Ripley.
That is an actual extract, no joke.
BG7: My dad uses Amazon all the time. I know the book costs a freakin' fortune, but I've persuaded him to get it for my 16th bday this year!! *dances for joy*
Btw, I know about the Near Dark deal. I found that hilarious, personally...mostly because Lance was at least fifty-something in that film and Jeanette was like 27. Bill was only 32 at that point - it was another missed op for them to hook up. I haven't acutally SEEN ND as it's rated R - which means I can't hire it, and I can't find it anywhere anyways. Wish I could though...gimme a chance to ship another JG/BP potential pairing...
