Babylon 5 is a personal favorite. The show really changed directions with season 2 and had me worried, but I stayed hooked. Jason Carter as Marcus, wow!!!!

Hmmm...I've never heard of this show before. "Marcus" sounds like a historical figure. Is it based in a historical time period? What is this show about exactly?

It is about a giant space station in the future. Babylon 5 was meant to be a neutral gathering place for the sentient species of the galaxy (sort of like United Nations in space). It was a lot like a bigger Deep Space Nine (for Star Trek folks). It was always meant to be told in five seasons only (which meant it actually had a planned ending). The cast was very diverse including Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Mira Furlan (the scary French chick on Lost), Jason Carter, and even Jeff Conaway (Grease). Season One was a little slower, but still very interesting. Season Two is where it became action packed. It had everything, romance, action, death, destruction, humor, and politics.

Thanks for the post. It sounds pretty good. I am familiar with Mira Furlan. She is pretty wacky on "Lost". Heh.
