Hi everyone. Just watched Sunshine for the first time the other day and I was moved by it. I loved the soundtrack and score and have been searching for it constantly! Obviously it's not out yet, but I think I know one of the tunes in the film (the really moving, orchestral one). It's used in a Carling advert! Check out: www.carling.com/belong/space/ to watch it (it's hilarious!). The song is Flute Concerto III: Elegia by Christopher Rouse. It really gets going at 6 minutes 50 seconds in... Amazing! Sorry if this has already been mentioned - I'm new here!

Heh, no I'm afraid you're mistaken. The ad looks more like a spoof of Sunshine, which is still flattering. It's fairly well established now that the main orchestral score for Sunshine was by John Murphy (only two artists appear in Sunshine's music credits: John Murphy, and another group, 'Underworld'). There's more info on the Official Soundtrack boards here, but basically the official soundtrack hasn't been released yet due to "legal" reasons. Sometimes it looks like it never will be released, but we're all hoping it will. Some day, once these legalities are straightened out. Welcome to the Sunshine experience.
