It's really hard to cover everything about this film, especially if only a few people are reporting actual news here. That's why our fansite doesn't update with much worldwide news because only two people run it. Thanks to members like you, we get to know new stuff now and then.

It's cool. I seriously can not wait till the end of the month for the UK DVD and it buying this actually works out cheaper then if I went to HMV or whereever and picked it up.
If you're wondering about the extras, from what I can gather it has the same ones as the UK DVD.

I first learned about the DVD specs from Amazon JP. They seemed standardish for all of the DVDs. SunshineDNA said that the Blu-Ray might have different ones though.

The limited edition has a different and far superior cover and it's a digipak case instead of the ordinary plastic case. Plus sometimes the limited edition HK DVDs tend to include some really cool goodies so there might be art cards or something.

Right, so the DVD arrived in the mail. Watching it now as I post this (Capa's message home). The case is really, really thin, sorta like those thin cases you get when you buy season box sets of TV shows only it's cardboard. The cover is Searle in the observation room reaching out to the sun. It looks much, much better then the other one of them walking next to each other like an obscure Reservoir Dogs remake. Sadly there are no free goodies like I hoped but hey, I got the flick a full two weeks before it hits DVD in the UK and I'm pretty stoked about that! On a related note, when I get roudn to it I'll post a bunch of Kaneda screen caps for the ladies

By "free goodies" do you mean deleted scenes?

No, I meant like art cards or book marks or scratch cards. The usual stuff that comes free with some Hong Kong DVDs.
The DVD extras are the same as they are on the other versions.

On a related note, when I get roudn to it I'll post a bunch of Kaneda screen caps for the ladies Oooo... YAY! I'm a bit bummed out by the "no free goodies" news though... If that's the case, I'll wait for the Malaysian release... But I had to ask, if there's no free goodies, what's the difference between the regular and limited edition?
