OMG you're so right. Wasn't Bill Paxton in one of the Jurassic Park movies?

...It's so strange, but I can totally picture it. Right now, I'm hearing Mace (as Malcolm) speaking my all time favorite line in that movie:
"Uh, now, eventually you do plan to have...DINOSAURS...on your dinosaur tour, right? (taps camera) Hello? H-Hello? (breathes on camera) Yes?" To which I can see Kaneda as Hammond saying:
"I REALLY hate that man..."

And Malcolm eventually hurts his leg, doesn't he? *hears "The Twilight Zone" music all around*

Indeed he did, Chero. I remember that scene where they first had to assess about Jurassic Park. Malcolm, being the most rational of them all, was really against it (in which I remember Mace being against docking Icarus I). And then Dr. Grant was the one fascinated about the entire thing as he studies the dinosaurs (in which I remember Capa being fascinated, almost obsessive, with the payload). And Sattler was a lot like Cassie: tough girl but wears her heart on her sleeves.
These lines: Dr. Ian Malcolm: God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs... Dr. Ellie Sattler: Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth. (Sattler smiles)
Somehow reminds me of Cassie's "excess of manliness" line in the movie.
Also, I found it funny that Malcolm said this: God help us, we're in the hands of engineers.
Not to mention, wasn't there also a subtle triangle between those three?
Massiefan, I don't think Bill Paxton was on it. Maybe you're referring to Sam Neill?
TheLovecraftFactor, I remember that scene! And I can totally picture Kaneda as Hammond.

Feel free to add me to the list of Capsie supporters.

Capsie fans don't want to hear this, but as I like Massie a tad more I have to say it: Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum were dating during the Jurassic Park era. Kaneda as Hammond sounds like fun! He'd look good with a cane. Wicked good.

... ... Uh-oh, I can just see it now: While Capa is running for his life in the park while being forced to babysit Corazon and Harvey, Mace is flirting shamelessly with Cassie while being pampered by both her and Kaneda. I'm sure that when Capa finds out, he'll break Mace's other leg, and then leave him to the mercy of the Raptors... ... <yawn>...just feel free to dismiss this as the deranged ranting of a very exhausted mind... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Solaris - Added you on the list. Whoop!
Chero - I heard about that from somewhere else. Teehee. But that's cool because that's the actors. I was referring to the characters. I believe that Grant and Sattler were the canon couple (although Malcolm DID flirt shamelessly with Sattler).
Grant: Are you married? Malcolm: Occasionally. ...I'm always in the look-out for future ex Mrs. Malcolm. Are you and Dr. Sattler...? Grant: Yes!
TheLoveCraftFactor - Lol! Oh my god! Corvey Jrs.! Which would be so hilariously weird because then Corazon and Harvey would be brothers and sisters and then Kaneda will be their grandfather!

Lol. Sorry, massiefan... we got quite carried away. Hmm.. I tried searching about it in IMDB. I couldn't see Jurassic Park or Lost World in his filmography. I'll try google... Nope, no Jurassic Park... But Twister & Apollo kept coming up.
Mel, no trouble at all. I had the links for a long time now anyway. Hope you get to watch it again. I watched it again after a long time of not watching it and after 13 years, it still kept me on the edge of my seat. I still can't believe how similar the characters are with Mapsie.
