Here's a quick overview of what you can do once you're in the chatroom: Type this - get this/leave or /quit - Leave the chat/away - Marks you temporarily away from the chat/me - Tell the other users what you are doing (in the third person) Ex. /me smiles => Trey smiles /message - Write a longer message for the roomOn a side note, it would be nice to identify yourself by first typing in /me is [username] from Sunshine Fan Forum (SFF for short) so we know. Also, if you can post your time zone we can all figure out what time it would be best for most of us to be in the chatroom together. I understand this will be difficult but it's worth a shot.

Check it out, I found this place called Chatzy and decided to create a room just for roleplaying. There's one condition: if the chatroom has not been accessed within 10 days, there's a possibility that it may get deleted. If that happens, I can always make another room. Anyways, I made it easy for everyone and decided to make the password " sunshine." You need this in order to enter the room. When you click the chatroom link, you will see a small info box that says the following: Welcome to {Icarus II}
To join the chat, please identify yourself below by using the name/alias you want to be as well as the corresponding color:
Capa - Gold Mace - Green Cassie - Pink Corazon - Red Kaneda - Purple Searle - Blue Harvey - Brown Trey - Black Pinbacker - Navy In case there's two Harvey's or whoever, the last person to enter the room should either change their character or wait. Unfortunately, I doubt this situation will occur. I hope we get to chat together. We can also set up a time in which we can all be online. I know there's only a few of us but hopefully more people will want to get involved in the near future. Okay, enough with my rambling! Here's the link to the chatroom --> Welcome to Icarus II...Very intersting...THANKS!!! I have to go right now, but I`ll check it out very soon!

The parts are random. Anyone can be any character as long as it isn't being played by anyone at that time. Am I confusing you?

This is simply a intro to the RPG. Nothing more for now. Forgive me for errors.
Sunshine RPG
"The Sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to Earth..." -Revelations, 6:12
It is fifty years from the day your in right now. The sun is dieing, and Earth faces extinction. The unthinkable has happened. Our star, the Sun, has begun to slowly go out. Icarus II is a ship, its mission? Reignite the sun. I know what your thinking, its impossible. Wrong. They once said that the sun will begin to die 5 billion years from your time. What a joke. Thanks to many things, includeing advancements in "SOHO", "ACRIMSAT", "TRACE", or "SORCE", we have known for a little while that its gonna go out soon. We, a small team of 8 people, must reignite the core of the sun with Icarus II. The ships front is made up of millions of sensors that emits vast energy and light. In the very middle is a smooth round disc that's the core of the energy.
The front of Icarus II is like a circle bowel. Its back is lit by a sickly blue light. There are 4 giant mechanical parts on the back, and in the middle of them is a huge square shape. Sprouting from that, is a long, and last part of the ship. This is where the crew is. Near Icarus`s back on this part of the ship is the observation room, then the airlock, earth room, sleeping quarters, comms room, flight deck, and finally, the oxygen room. It is the last, and greatest of mankind's achievement in technology, Icarus II.
Icarus II, is almost 93 million miles (150 million kilometers) from the Earth, traveling at the speed of sound. The sun in the distance ahead of Icarus II is the size of our Moon. But, it gets bigger. And bigger, the light blasting at Icarus II, intensifying as Icarus II draws nearer in brightness and heat. In the flight deck, is where everyone stands, around a white table seated with chairs with a screen connected to its middle standing up. It is thick, and wide, and clear, showing many colorful diagrams the sun and Icarus II traveling towards it.
Kaneda Position: Captain
Capa Position: Physicist
Corazon Position: Biologist
Cassie Position: Pilot
Mace Position: Engineer
Searles Position: Doctor
Trey Position: Navigator
Harvey Position: Comms Officer
The 8 crew members. They all stared at it, standing around the table looking at it, and each other, all in gray/dark blue tight suits. "No, no, go through it again please. The plan, the mission." said Cassie, taping her foot nervously upon the ground, it echoing. Kaneda nodded at Searle, who nodded back. "The plan is this folks, Icarus II will swoop down towards the south pole of the sun. There are massive holes over the Sun’s poles called coronal holes. These are places where the sun’s magnetic field opens up and allows solar wind to escape. Flying over the sun’s poles means entering a hot, million mph stream of protons and electrons. Icarus II will enter through one, and we will head towards the core of the sun. The rest of the plan will be explained from there, when were heading towards the core." said Searle, who was breathing in deep gulps of air, trying to stay focused. He looked tired, and frustrated, but continued.
"The temperature of the Sun varies from 5800K on the surface to 15,600,000K at the core. The outermost layer of the Sun, the corona, is between 1-2,000,000K. Though its temperature is high, its particle density is so low that it releases little heat. If a person were able to stand in the Sun's corona they wouldn't burn, instead they'd freeze in the near vacuum...just so you know. Now remember, the idea of this plan working, is entirely theoritacal...we don`t even truly know if we 8 crew members will succeed in this plan or if the plan will work at all. I have high doubts but, I`ll keep those to myself." said Searle, sighing. Trey looked completely horrified, his legs shaking violently. "You got a grip or what man?" asked Mace to Trey with a painfully grin. Trey murmured "I`ll be alright." and swallowed harder, shaking harder. Corazon began coughing loudly, shaking her head in sadness. Capa just stared calmly at the table, relaxed, or at least thats what it seemed.
"Every time Searle, every time you tell us this plan, I get more and more doubtful...I mean were a dot!!! Were traveling towards something so bi...about 1,300,000 planets the size of Earth could be packed into the sun!!! My god, Direct viewing of the Sun with the naked eye delivers about 4 milliwatts of sunlight to the retina, heating it up and potentially damaging it...and soon were gonna be right in front of it. Anything could go WRONG!!!" yelled Cassie, throwing up her arms in anger. Searle glared at her. "You are dismissed. Tell us when were closer to the remains of Icarus I. I want to know exactly what happened there, and not this bullnuts NASA kept feeding us back on Earth." said Kaneda coldly. Harvey cursed under his breathe and punched the table, pacing around. Trey breathed out slowly, eyes closed, shaking still. Capa though, was still seemly calm. "Well...at least we know that the same thing that happened on Icarus I could easily happen here." said Capa. Corazon and Mace stared at Capa. "Insanity." Capa said, eyes closed...
to be continued...

Does everyone interested in the chatroom have Standard Eastern Time? I want to make sure that if a time slot is mentioned to RPG in the chatroom that no one will be left behind.
