Was there this religious overtone in the end? God created Adam and Eve, a man and woman... so is it significant that the two humans that create God in the end are man and woman?
I feel like it is quite significant... but then who is Pinbacker in the mesh?

This Thread does an awesome job of exploring that theme.

This is the fellow who wrote about the Adam-Eve-Serpent idea.
I had another thought about Capa: what if he was supposed to embody the eros (erotic) drive -- the unyielding instinct to create? He always seemed to be motivated by slightly different concerns than the rest of the crew. Certainly, he wanted to save the world; but more than that, he wanted to give birth to a new star.
I'm curious if the other characters might represent various different Freud-Jung drives. Pinbacker, the thanatos (death) drive; Mace, the logos (logical) drive; Cassie, the anima (life-giving) drive; and so on.
Everyone's thoughts?
