The review says that this is the screenplay of the film, not a novelization of it. According to the reviewer it contains an introduction by Garland, some storyboards and concept sketches. So no, it's not a novel, and it doesn't have any extra stories either (but it might have deleted scenes, I have no idea)--but it does look interesting! I hope that helps--and your English was fine. Significantly better than I could ever hope to write Korean

It's really great, that book, and it's got the shooting script, so there are some deleted scenes in it, and the storyboard photos are really cool. It's a nice read, definitely, and has some extra information in it that we haven't gotten anywhere else (although it's just silly little things like the name of Capa's dog, etc.). I'm glad I got it, though.

Yeah, I think it ended up costing somewhere around $40 USD, which is slightly ridiculous for a book, but the Wind That Shakes the Barley script book was about the same, and if it's something you truly love you can deal with the price. Next month you won't even remember having paid that much for it! You'll love it once you get it!

I have to wait for my birthday on this one... Aw... dont feel sad... Wait til you hear my story... My bro bought me the book, and sends it over along with my mom's Mother's Day gift (he's in UK now). One week already and it still havent reached us yet. Mom says it's probably lost.... Just when I thought dark days have come and gone...

Sounds interesting. Tough I'd like novelization book even better... Hmm, we'll see if the book finds its way to Finland. Hey, if you're interested, you can order it from bookplus.fi for 13, 50 euros. www.bookplus.fi/product.php?isbn=9780571233977Though it says it takes longer than usual to deliver.. I just ordered one yesterday, we'll see when I'll get it.

Does anyone know whether an actual novelization (as opposed to just the script) of 'Sunshine' will ever come out?

What a day I had. The book has finally arrived along with my mum's present (very-belated Mother's Day gift)... It's suppose to be a great day (cause it's not lost or anything) but we went all the way to the Customs office to pick it up. Had to go through all the checks and everything. Tax this, tax that... Ugh... But the good news is I get to enjoy the book! hehe... ;D I already read half of it...

Oh, so good to you, Starry_MelC! Congratulation! Why, thank you! ;D The book is definately worth it... has some deleted scenes and some scenes that are changed as well as some graphics and storyboard. Really great! Would recommend it to any Sunshine fan!
