......And what if it"s "JUST A MOVIE" ... What is fantasy ? How does our brain works , really According to Quantum-Mechanics (study of the sub-atomic world) ....everything that you can imagine or "thought-up" exists somewhere for REAL. Know that matter exists for 99% out of nothingness .... (some scientists even dare to compare matter as a "mere thought" that pops in and out of existence" ) So WE might as well be the thoughts or fantasies .....of a "greater" being ...on another plane of existence

I think it's because it is a genuinely well-made, deep, thought-provoking movie. It is a sci-fi thriller for thinkers and feelers that lends itself to a certain level of believability which most other movies don't. In some respects it's more like a documentary than a fantasy movie, which just makes it that more intense. The imagery and music work so well together that they invoke profound feelings within you, which is what a good movie should do. Good movies leave lasting impressions, both psychological and emotional. Honestly, I cannot recall any other movie staying in my mind as long as Sunshine, and I've seen a few. If this is addiction, then bring it on!

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! I keep telling myself that I know Capa doesn't believe in God, but in a way, I feel like he's kind of seeing God or embracing God. Maybe it's just his own personal version of God, but it's there the way I look at it, which gets me all mixed up and confused in my own thoughts and they chase each other round and round until I end up just sitting in a chair staring at a blank reply box and I have no idea what I think about it. Spot on! I was very moved by the ending, and generally the whole music through the film. Just wen everything is rushing, setting the bomb, panicing and hoping the bomb will work, capa saying "please", come to think of it, capa saying "please" talking to god? Then when the sun bursts in, and then...it stops....wow.truely powerful

I am so overwhelmed by this movie. Every time I look up at the sun, I hear Capa's voice over and I think, "Wow, what if this all really happened?" And I quote it constantly, I draw fanart, I speculate the science behind it, it's all so... amazing. I find myself speechless at the sheer intensity of this movie. I love it.
I really really want to do cosplay... if I could make it properly.

I love three things in Sunshine: The ingenious character developing and group dynamics (best I've ever seen in the movie, the scene in the main living room with the big screen illustrates this perfectly), the Sc-Fi and overwhelming space shots, and the physics in it. Not to forget the fascinating visual style
