I don't know about you guys, but i kinda can't help but wonder what would happen if Kaneda didn't make the choice to dock with Icarus I, or if Trey hadn't made that mistake with the shields...and how did Pinbacker survive for nearly a decade...
When you think about it, Icarus I was a new hope for survival for the crew of Icarus II yet because Pinbacker was still alive, instead of Icarus I being hope it was a trap. I know that this is just a movie and that it was made that way to keep the audience interested, but i keep thinking "what if?"

If they didn't go to Icarus I, I think they all would have survived.  That's my hope anyways. Wouldn't that be awesome?? Seeing all of them return to Earth? *sigh* |

it was up to Capa to see if they could, and yes Capa did say that they had a better chance of success with 2 bombs instead of 1. However, it was the captain's decision, and he chose to dock.

However, it was the captain's decision, and he chose to dock. oh nonono.... It was Captain who gave the choice to Capa, and Capa chose to dock. Capa made a choice not a suggestion, in which made Mace so angry with him at the end.  And yes, I thought a million times "what if".... I think they'd survived too.... We might even find out who's the father of the baby!  And Kanezon will live happily ever after....  oops!  Did I just say that out loud?  |

ya... I voted on the poll already (anyone care to venture a guess on my vote? LOL) And Pinbazon! That's cute! hehe... Corvey would be a great addition! And I love them! *thinking of the hug-and-twirl moment* Trezon? Hm... *trying to think of any Trezon moments* Are there even any Trezon moments? Carey/Tressie seems more possible (the voting part anyway)... OK... back to the topic. Unfortunately my topic includes fandom too... haha... WHAT IF Kaneda did not die and Pinbacker is totally normal. And they meet each other and talk about their teams... I'm imagining it now. They'll both be sitting at the observatory. And Pinbacker will tell Kaneda the problems in his team. And Kaneda will say "oh yea... I have the same problem with this lot. There's 2 guys in my team that cant stop fighting over a gal.
