That's called Murphy's Law. Sunshine is a great movie, so naturally, it doesn't get the publicity it deserves, whereas Spiderman 3, which was awful, was all over the TV and movie theatres. Darn advertising campaign. Plus it's a Murphy movie so Murphy's Law applies naturally...

Why is it called Murphy's Law? Does it have something to do with Cillian?

Why is it called Murphy's Law? Does it have something to do with Cillian? It was named after Captain Edward A. Murphy. Unless he was linked [i.e. Grandfather] to Cillian, I seriously doubt it has anything to do with Cillian...

Lol!
I've been waiting for Sunshine promos to play on TV, but I havent seen a single one! I've only seen the trailer in theatres once (At Blood and Chocolate), but at least it's on demand so it gets a little exposure...

I've only seen the trailer in theatres once (At Blood and Chocolate), but at least it's on demand so it gets a little exposure... Well, I still think you guys will have a much better exposure there. In Malaysia, the press went crazy over rumours of Michelle planning to get married more than Sunshine. (It was in the FRONT PAGE, do you believe that!) I went to the cinema for more than 4 movies before Sunshine but none of them showed Sunshine's trailer, but it keeps repeating Spidy3, POTC etc.... The only time I watch it was on a VERY small black&white blurry tv at a government's office, I almost screamed in excitement.... I heard it a few times on the radio though, especially with the creepy voice "nothing survives. Not your parents, not your children, not even stars...." LOL.... I'm intrigued! I think Sunshine is the least promoted recent Michelle movie in Malaysia.... Which is very surprising considering (1) Michelle is from Malaysia and the press LOVES her... (2) We Malaysians are so darn proud of Michelle (3) Sunshine is packed with G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S guys and gals!!! P.S. sorry, I've ranted on this in another thread already, but I cant help myself!

Amen to that! Chris Evans is quite possibly the [glow=red,2,300]HOTTEST GUY ON THE PLANET[/glow] at the moment. Or off the planet, if you really wanna be specific...

Well, I'm going to see Transformers tonight (Dont ask), and I'm hoping that it will play before that. Considering how huge Transformers is (At least in America), it would be a dream if the Sunshine trailer played.

Well, I didnt see the Sunshine trailer, but I did see the trailer for a new J.J. Abrams movie (which goes under the filming alias of Cloverfield) that looks pretty awesome. Sci-fi seems to be getting good again!
Oh, and Transformers was suprisingly good.

I'm yet to see it. I was doubtful about the movie first but I thought that Shia is a rather good actor so I might see the movie for him.

Sorry, but requests might be slowing down for a bit. Remember that trailer I mentioned? I realized it's J.J. Abrams. The guy behind Lost. So, searching the net, I found various sites related to this movie (Cloverfield/1-18-08). They are ethanhaaswasright.com and www.ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com. Never seen anything more puzzling in my life, and never have I tried to decipher more codes and hidden messages. Well, this is momentarily eating my life (As I have joined the cause), but it should soon be over. Then requests will start again! If you have a lot of time on your hands, I recommend you check those sites out. If you're busy, act like they have the plague!

Transformers kicked butt! I loved it!
*insert incessant fangirling here*
Those guys were so awesome, loved those scenes in the backyard where Optimus Prime steps on the bird bath, Mojo pees on Ironhide's foot and Ratchet walks into the powerlines and falls over on someone's climbing plants.
Priceless.
