Why, oh why did they turn the lights off in District 1? Especially in the basement? Wouldn't that just make the people even more scared? It seems to me that a lot of the plot is based on writers fiat and isn't particularly credible story-wise.

Good thing Cillian didn't agree to take on a role of an infected. I mean, I'd be horrified to find out Jim became one of them.

28 Days Later is one of my favourite films. The trailer to Weeks was awesome. So I was optimistic. But, I'm sorry, the film just frustrated me so much. The opening 10 minutes were scary as hell, but it went so downhill after that. So many ridiculous plot holes you could've drove a truck through them. Talented actors: Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne and Robert Carlyle but their talent felt wasted in this. I was really hoping it would pick up, but the film just felt completely pointless and took away what made Days such an strong film.
I wanted to like it, I really did.

Y'know, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed "28 Weeks Later." Only one thing really didn't make sense to me: Why in the hell did Scarlett take the kids down into that pitch-black tube station without a flashlight--?!? (And if they had only the rifle scope, why didn't she go first--?) Maybe she was hoping to walk them along the tracks to-- wherever. But no: the geography of the Underground doesn't exactly match the landscape up top. They'd've gotten horrifyingly lost in the dark. Maybe it's something an American soldier wouldn't realize-- but, heck, I'm an American, and you wouldn't catch me trying to walk the tracks between tube stations! Actually, I love "28 Days Later." But I see holes in that plot big enough to drive my Mini through, at least. Neither film is perfectly scripted. But both of them boast amazing acting and atmosphere, and powerful musical scores, and that's good enough for me. I was all set to hate "28 Weeks Later"; I found it a pleasant surprise. "Days," "Weeks": I like 'em both! Don't get me started on the "Months" thing, though. I begin to wonder when a given amount of franchise becomes too much franchise. At the "Years" point? "Decades," possibly? And eventually we hit "28 Millennia Later"-- and maybe the sun goes out, and the last eight non-infected people on Earth have to fly off in a spaceship to jump-start it-- Oh. Whoops. Never mind.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying Days is perfect at all. Not in the slightest. There were moments in that that bugged me. It was just the plot holes were, to me anyway, much more obvious in Weeks and I think that's what frustrated me about it I guess. Ah well.
Yeah, the Months thing is taking too far. There's no need to turn it into a franchise.

XD lmao you crack me up My interpretation of 28 Weeks: I really liked it! I loved the way that they added the family dynamic The people on the inside (the soldier and Rose's character) trying to help And my favorite? The use of creativity in terrains that havent been explored in zombie movies (as far as i know) They use helicopters and poison gas and water and giant bombs that try to kill the whole city and underground tunnels To me, that was the most interesting part I agree with what someone said above about a certain character appearing over and over Very unrealistic And I wish other characters hadnt died But honestly it was a really great sequel

Yeah, there's a stigma with sequels but hey, Shrek 2 was awesome so they may be seeking redemption. Resume Writing Service
