Aw another cute Massie moment. I can see Cassie making meals for her men on stressful days... but then I also see her having fights with them as well. I'm thinking around the first times when Mace and Capa fought each other. Then it just gets out-dated (as seen in the movie). Silly boys.

***** ... and thus it comes to pass that Mace and Capa (for whom the ship is smaller now, thanks to the loss of his big dark-matter rumpus room ) attempt their moment of truce whilst eating their peanut-butter sandwiches. And it goes something like this: "I shink Casshie-- mffsh-- looksh kinda schlicksh." "Washid shou shay, Maysh?" "Kinda schlicksh. Like sheesh feelin' derprusht--" "Shyew wahnna zhrepeat shat--?" "Huhsh? Whasht?" "Youh shed sheesh looksh shlitsh." "Zhuh hehl I did." "Ihdjiot." " Youh're zhuh ihdjiot, Crapa. Zhyouh cran't hehven zhalk." ... very shortly after which the cease-fire ends.... ***** And chero-- for a second there I thought you'd written "Corazon's evil plans," and I thought [glow=red,2,300]HEY.[/glow] followed by It's a good thing Corrie isn't reading this thread. Then I thought But "plants" works just as well. Seeing a Kaneda dream sequence in which our good captain is trying to escape Corazon's wily clutches. He makes a break for the door-- "Get him, boys," Corrie purrs. -- and vines like tentacles whip out and wrap themselves around Kaneda and drag him back to her.... (After which Kaneda, flailing awake, wonders if Trey baked anything unusual into the brownies he made for the captain's bachelor party.... )

VINES ARE PERFECT FOR OUR SCENE! I CAN ENVISION THIS!! GO GET HIM!! YES!!!Ahem. I'm sorry about that confusion, Corazon Kali. However, I find it very ironic that Corazon is asking for a ring when she doesn't wear anything Kaneda gives her. *cough* sunglasses *cough* yeah *cough* remember those? *cough*In which case, I say: [glow=red,2,300]HEY.[/glow] followed by Good thing that slipped Kaneda's mind... or has it?.... That's very appropriate, don't you think massiefan? Congrats! ;D

... but is she asking for a ring? I'm thinking she was speaking the truth when she told Kaneda about how she once managed to plant her current wedding ring in a tomato patch: she's hinting more after the commitment, not necessarily the hardware.... As for the sunglasses.... hmmm.... ***** Captain Massiefan-- -- Besides (or maybe relating to) Cassie, maybe Mace and Capa might discuss Capa's plans for (literally) brightening up the ship: the power and/or wiring alterations they'd need in order to boost the interior lighting. Stuff like that.... Speaking of which: In the Sunshine stills, has anyone else noticed the scads of wires hanging out in the open around the ship...? Geez, people, break out the twist-ties already! Tuck those things in or tape 'em down before someone gets tangled up...!

That works for me, Kali. I also have the feeling that Mace may want to bring up the fact that he might be less than comfortable with Capa having access to his personnel files, even if it's only for medical reasons. There we go - we have three topics to discuss, some professional, some to cause tension. Perfect. How about we work on this after Mace has his meeting with Kaneda?

For those who are curious, I'm copying and pasting actual passages from Cassie's book, Lady Chatterley's Lover. You can find more information about it and read the whole book here if you're interested: www.sunshinefan.com/chatterley.phpJust a small warning: It is a naughty book, much to kali's playful denial.
