trying not to replay the Mapa moment in my head.... Hey, yeah! That was pretty awesome. I was working really hard to focus on the bigger picture, but... well, y'know...

Amanda: thank you! Maybe not the right way to put this, but I'm glad it whalloped you. It's been whalloping ME. SHARE THE WHALLOP, I say--! Starry_MelC: Naw, I'm not a script writer. Thanks for thinking I'd have a shot at being one. I'm a legal editor in real life-- but being a script editor is one of my fantasies.... ***** And now, for those who really aren't wondering, here's the soundtrack (a.k.a. Things That Got Played a Bajillion Times While "Pod" Was Under Construction). Some lovely stuff, some creepy stuff, some old-school science-fictiony stuff (read: "beloved schlock from the dawn of time"), all very near and dear: Helios, Unomia (specifically "Suns That Circling Go") Black Angels, "Manipulation" Arcade Fire, from Neon Bible: "Keep the Car Running," "Intervention," "Antichrist Television Blues," "My Body Is a Cage" The Cars, "Dangerous Type" Low, from Great Destroyer: "Silver Rider," "Cue the Strings" Planet P, "Why Me?", "Send It in a Letter," "Only You and Me" ELO, from Time: "Ticket to the Moon" Brandi Carlile, "The Story" IMA Robot, "Dangerous Life" ***** Gotta love the tunes!

Interesting tunes, Kali! This would go better in the Sunshine Playlist thread.

I'm definitely keeping this page in mind so that I can download your soundtrack whenever my Internet at home stops being so frickin' gay.
On another note-- did you receive your script book yet? I devoured mine between last night and this morning.

Interesting tunes, Kali! This would go better in the Sunshine Playlist thread. Can we keep 'em over here? I'm seeing "Pod" in my head when they're playing....

Can we keep 'em over here? I'm seeing "Pod" in my head when they're playing.... Of course, but you should add these songs to our growing playlist if you want. At least ones you think are SUNSHINE-related.

So I finally got a chance to start reading this, and it was kind of like, if i can be allowed to say, a belated birthday present. (April 10 . Not so far gone. ) “Well, hell, my birthday’s not for seven months.” Mace grinned, took Capa by the beard, and parked a kiss on his lips. “Happy birthday, man.” Capa considered. Then he said: “You didn’t get any of it.” He placed a hand at the back of Mace’s head, pulled him in, and gave him a kiss more conducive to the exchange of sweets. Then he smiled at Mace devilishly. “There.” “Holy-- sh [/li][li]t,” Mace breathed. His forehead tipped forward, came to rest against Capa’s. “Umm, you two want a minute alone?” Trey asked.[/quote] And OH MY GOD. *hyperventilates* I love you, Kim. XDDDD LY for you~~~!

One day I will commit to reading all of these new fanfictions, but from what Kagerou highlighted for this one - WOW! Brilliant as always, Kali!

Starry_MelC: Naw, I'm not a script writer. Thanks for thinking I'd have a shot at being one. I'm a legal editor in real life-- but being a script editor is one of my fantasies.... You definately have the talent for that! Being an actor is one of my fantasies... Hey, maybe we can work together! hehe... Actually, I was thinking of something like "Get a room!"... But, yea... that works too!

And I just finished the rest. Interesting twist with Pilot. Is "Loinnir" Gaelic, because not only does it look it but it also seems to be impossible to pronounce. Hint hint. Endings like that always sort of depress me because after going through so much with those people it would seem impossible to "never see each other again." Perhaps it's just me.

Yeah, kagerou, "Loinnir" is Gaelic. Roughly translated, it means "sunlight through the clouds," specifically the shafts of light that break through the clouds when a storm ends. (Or so I'm told. Found it en route to looking up another name entirely.... ) And, hey, happy-belated-MAPA-birthday! Check your messages; I've sent you a "Pod"-related prize! One more thing: if the author may be so bold as to suggest even MORE of these mashups, we might say that "Pod" contains not only Mapa and Capsie but Whace or Matby as well!
