Hye folks...i'm writing this as an Underworld fan who, like you was very interested in hearing the score and hoping for a soundtrack release date. Checking these forums, i was upset by the animosity toward Underworld and the doubts that they contributed much besides "To Heal" to the soundtrack. Well, they did, actually... I just watched the film yesterday and can confirm several other definite UW tracks that have appeared elsewhere (e.g. their EP's, live shows). These are: "Loads of Birds" "You Do Scribble" "Ansum" (included in deleted scenes, not sure about final edit) "Peggy Sussed" (end credits) Of course, "To Heal" (used as a motif several times, including conclusion)
Then, there's the guitar figure that plays 2-3 times, first during the appearance of Mercury scene, which is very reminiscent of Karl Hyde's guitar style.
Other incidental music is likely John Murphy's work, beatless pads and ambient strings. UW also could have had a hand in this, given their recent ambient output.
Would be great to hear that this gets released, though for Underworld fans, there's little we haven't heard, save that lovely guitar bit.
Cheers

Sorry, kazimir. We have yet to receive any further news regarding the soundtrack. And I do apologize, holden, for the hostility you perceive toward Underworld hereabouts. I think we're all feeling frustrated. Thank you for your insights regarding the group's further contributions to the soundtrack.

On a related note, however--

Hi to all ! I know an iTunes release have already coming out with some John Murphy cues and the Underworld score cues. I know also a first launched promotional album distributed by John Murphy himself to critics and fans features the "complete" John Murphy score compositions (including even unused cues by Murphy). But my question is the fellow: there are any others editions official or promotional (do not offer to me a bootleg or fan made dvd ripp etc please) who contains the FILM VERSION of To Heal and Adagio in D Minor !? ^^ Because unfortunatly the Underworld cue To Heal featured in the album Oblivion is NOT the exact film version... same thing about Adagio in D Minor by Murphy, the iTunes and the promo contains both the same version NOT featured exactly than the film version... In my humble opinion the cues in film version are really more well mixed and sequenced and if any source contains these cues in film version PLEASE give me a link ! Thanks in advance and again please do not purpose to me any "links" to bootlegs or fan made dvdrip with sfx library etc.
